The Dark Wielder is an epic fantasy novel which follows the long, conflicted journey of the indecisive, unfulfilled Adi Walkman - a man abandoned by everything he loves, living limbo in London, unable to speak, unable to understand his purpose. But fate brought more meaning to him than he could ever have imagined, as the little girl in his recurring dreams, Olivia, brings a man to his home who guides him out of earth and into the skies ablaze with stars and through the dimensions, into the man’s home planet - Erhin. Here, Adi discovers the medieval way of life, and most importantly, his purpose. The man who sees the future, Adi Walkman, soon became a huge asset to Gr’Erhin: the ruling kingdom in the Northern parts of Erhin. But fate wasn’t quite done with this young man, as he is sent a vision from higher forms, forefathers that founded the very stone upon which he stood. He was chosen to be the next Dark Wielder, an infamous, stated magician, Wielder, who could yield and bend the darker lights to his will. After years of searching for his place, his world, he found a larger role than he could have ever expected to, and the young, stuttering, nervous man soon became a piece of grandeur, who revelled in the spotlight. With just one mission - just one killing - nothing can stop Adi Walkman as he marches forth, into the wars lit by his own dark flames.
Meanwhile, across the hemisphere, the West of Erhin - Loazer - is aflame with royal conflict. Following the journey of the youngest sister of the ruling Rolan family, Theren Rolan seeks ambition far too big to be sighted by her eyes. Her appetite for rule and dominance overcomes her ability to feast, as she struggles to achieve the great power of the Ruler of Loazer. Underlying it all, she is a spy who gets wrapped up in more deceitful business than her knives cut her out for. Having learned the truth about the underground shadow members who were the true runners of her kingdom, her struggles intensify as she must live, sweat, and breathe the blood of herself and her enemies, all the while dealing with the inner turmoil of her lunatic brother, Lothar, as he turns from a beaten down, neglected fragment into a diamond which shined the wrong light in the wrong places. He finally finds out the truth about his family, and spirals off into a tangent as everything he thought he knew was just a mask to hide the bitter intentions the ones he loved had for him. Everything burns into ashes as he kills the one responsible for his banishment…his older brother - Rothrin Rolan. Traumatised, Theren once and for all banishes Lothar to the land of all prisoners. Banished, betrayed, infuriated, shocked, sad, regretful - Lothar goes through it all as he lives the life of a prisoner. Once a weak, laughed at part of something bigger, he is driven by his fierce taste for revenge, and cuts himself the perfect slice as his sister’s lover comes hunting his way to the South.
The Dark Wielder follows three protagonists, all fuelled by deep, internal journeys underlying the extravagance of leather pelts and finely weld iron swords, lords and ladies, and infinite beams of light, as each of our three leading characters undergo deep, painful realisations as they suffer neglect, shock, trauma, and challenge like they could have never expected. Challenge sometimes from their enemies, and sometimes challenge built into the very foundation of their being. The Dark Wielder follows the epic, yet contained journey of these three characters, on their quests for ambition, vengeance, fulfilment, all while the battles both in their worlds and in their heads stop them every step of the way.
